Common questions

Is the demo class really free?

Yes. It is a full class with a real teacher, not a sales call. You never enter a card, and you pay nothing until you have met your teacher and decided to continue.

What if I am a complete beginner?

That is what the placement test is for. It takes a few minutes at the start of your demo class and tells us which level to start you in, from A1 upwards. In a class of never more than 4 students you speak in every class, which is the part that fixes freezing.

Are the teachers native speakers?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. Our teachers are certified, experienced, and clear to understand. A class of 4 students with a certified teacher gives you far more speaking time than a class of 12 with anyone at all, and speaking time is what raises your level.

How much does it cost after the free demo class?

Confident English in a group is $80 a month for 16 classes, which works out at $5 a class. Exam preparation in a group is $120 a month. One-to-one is $200 a month. You pay one month at a time, never a lump sum, and you can change your teacher at any time.

What if I miss a class?

Every class is recorded and comes with written notes, so you can catch up the same day. Cancel at least 12 hours ahead and you get a free makeup class, and you can pause your studies for up to 4 weeks for travel, Ramadan, or exams.

How do I pay if I cannot use an international card?

Bank transfer, Western Union, and Wise work in every country we teach in. We also accept Al-Kuraimi in Yemen, STC Pay and mada in Saudi Arabia, and İyzico and Papara in Turkey. Nothing is ever paid on this website — you pay after your demo class, over WhatsApp.
